The Traffic Law Department of the Debrecen Police Department initiated proceedings against a local resident due to the well-founded suspicion of committing a misdemeanor while driving while intoxicated. According to the investigation data, the suspect was driving a car in Debrecen, on Böszörményi út, when he collided with a car from behind on May 26, 2022, at around 3:30 p.m. As a result of the collision, the vehicle crashed into another vehicle.
The officers used a breathalyzer on the driver, which indicated a positive value, so he was arrested and produced. During the inspection, it was also revealed that the woman – who suffered minor injuries – did not have a valid driver’s license either.
The police carried out the necessary procedural actions and sent the resulting documents to the competent prosecutor’s office.
