The police caught seven people and took another seven to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Six perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another one was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by a Hungarian court. One person was taken to a police station as a suspect.
There were two traffic accidents from which both resulted in minor injuries.
A 62 year old man was caught stealing a pair of gloves in a hypermarket on Kishegyesi Út, Debrecen. After the security guards called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the Debrecen police station and a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
