Europe is “lining up” in China for vaccine, state secretary Tamás Menczer said on his Facebook page on Sunday. Menczer said in a video message that within a few hours after news was made public on Thursday that the Hungarian government is in advanced talks on acquiring a Chinese Covid-19 vaccine, 14 European countries had made their own enquiries at the manufacturer of the Chinese vaccine. “By now, all of Europe is probably lining up in China, again,” he said. Menczer asked the left wing and the press not to “hamper” the work of expediting the procurement of Covid-19 vaccines “with fake news and misinformation” in a post on his Facebook page on Saturday.
