The volunteers and staff of the Hungarian Red Cross Hajdú-Bihar County Organization collect durable food and cleaning products and toiletries at ten locations on Fridays and Saturdays. In seven Real and three Penny stores, shoppers are asked to help the needy with products on the occasion of the holidays.
Those who want to donate can do so in the offices of the Hajdú-Bihar County Organization of the Hungarian Red Cross. The NGO can help needy families, children, and lonely elderly, sick people with the donations they receive for this purpose. Next time, on December 10-11, the organization’s volunteers and staff will collect durable food, cleaning and toiletries in several Real and Penny stores in the county: 7 Real Food Stores (57 / b Széchenyi Street in Debrecen and Balmazújváros, Derecske, Komádi, Hajdúböszörmény, Földes, Nádudvar ‘Reales’), and 3 Penny Markets (in Debrecen in the shops on István út, Hajdúnánás, and Balmazújváros). The county organization also accepts offers in its seven regional offices (contact details at http://voroskereszthajdu.hu). For those who are more convenient, they can also send a grant to the Red Cross County bank account (10400339-00026562-00000009), which will be used exclusively by the audited and transparent organization for the purpose indicated in the Communication.
Let’s save Christmas together!
“Let’s prove again this year that we can give in Hajdú-Bihar county even if it is not easy for us either! Let’s help together those who are having the hardest time surviving now, and it’s also a joy to have food on their table at Christmas. This is the only way to make the holiday complete, ”Red Cross County volunteers and staff emphasize, asking county residents to choose at least one durable food item at the collection point and put it in the collection basket.
From the offerings, the regional organizations of the Hungarian Red Cross Hajdú-Bihar County Organization will provide Christmas aid packages to large families struggling for everyday life, small retirees, single, sick people, those in crisis, or other reasons before the holiday.
