Hot weather has a positive effect on the construction of the bypass section of main road 4.
The six and a half billion investment is progressing well, according to the plans. Noise walls, wildlife walls, drainage ditches and bridges are being constructed. The workers start working at 6 o’clock – an hour before the usual- because of hot weather. The scorching days and rain-free weather are particularly good for construction works, as asphalt can only set well at a high temperature- said Daniel Loppert, head of public relations of the National Infrastructure Development Ltd.
According to the plans, the railroad crossing and barriers are to be built in the following few weeks. The 12-kilometre road section is expected to be finished by the end of 2012.
