The University and NAtional Libray of the University of Debrecen has joined the event of Library Week in Hungary.
The Library Week is organized between 3 and 9 October. Amonf the programs the interests can find concerts, presentations, introduction of books, and many else.
The slogan for this year’s Library Week is "Talk to each other and learn from each other". Connected to this, the university library wishes to highlight one of its most important functions: it provides a base for knowledge for student and teachers as well, having the second biggest library collection in Hungary.
The programs represent a part of the introduction of the newest improvements by university library. One of them is a forum for PhD students: the university intents to build a community of them.
An electronic scientific-informative gate has also be developed, where the interest can have access to scientific result reach by any faculties, departments, institutes of the university.
Another new electronic system is the Debrecen University Press (DUP), where anybody can find all publications published the University of Debrecen since 2009.
