Local officers imposed nearly 79 million HUF fine on spot last year, by ten million HUF more than in 2009.
The police started three times more administrative procedures in traffic offences than last year in Hajdú-Bihar County. This resulted in a 500 million HUF extra income. In 2009 cops issued fines in total of 803 million HUF while last year this amount reached 1.3 billion HUF. Local motorists paid 68 million HUF fine in 2009 while they paid 78 million last year. Interestingly, however, the average fine amount has been reduced.
