Miklos Rethelyi the head of the Ministry of National Resourches awarded local university teachers on the Hungarian Culture Day.
Janos Barta, historian and professor emeritus and physics professor Dezso Beke received the Albert Szent-Gyorgyi Prize. The recognition can only awarded to those who carry out internationally recognized, trend-setting work in the Hungarian higher education.
Zoltan Gyori, the head of Institute of the Centre of Agricultural Sciences received the Apaczai-Csere Award for work in educational activities.
