The Government will ensure its part to build a new football stadium in Debrecen. Peter Szijjarto told outlining the decision of the cabinet.
The spokesman for the Prime Minister told journalist that the Government intends to make a serious investment in sport and economic development framework so locals can start the process of building a stadium in Debrecen.
The cabinet’s decision was that until 15 October the Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of National Developmentand theNational Resources Ministry should prepare a proposalwhich concerns the process of building and funding a stadium in Debrecen.
To the questionthat how big will be the stadium, Szijjártó Peter replied: to build a stadium with a capacity of a Champions League match, with the exception of the Champions League final.
